Fnac & Darty product data API
ShopAPIS returns structured Fnac and Darty product data — price, currency, availability, seller name and rating, competing marketplace offers, delivery estimate, average rating, review count, technical specifications, variants and EAN — as normalized JSON. Fnac (electronics, media, books, culture) and Darty (appliances, electronics) are the two storefronts of the Fnac Darty group, France’s leading specialist retailer-marketplace beyond Amazon and a key source for electronics and culture pricing.
Fnac Darty is a €10.3B-revenue group across 15 countries. It operates roughly 1,500 stores and runs Fnac.com (France’s #4 site by traffic) plus Darty as combined retail and marketplace channels (Fnac Darty corporate ). Fnac leads culture and electronics; Darty leads appliances.
Why Fnac & Darty data is hard to get
Fnac and Darty share a combined platform with both first-party retail and third-party marketplace sellers, and that hybrid model is the core parsing challenge. The group exposes partner interfaces for sellers, but the competitive catalog — every offer on a product, the winning price, the review stream — is not openly published, so reading it means parsing the live storefront against medium anti-bot difficulty. The Fnac-specific wrinkle is the split-brand catalog: the same EAN can appear on Fnac.com and Darty.com with different prices, different first-party-versus-marketplace mixes and different loyalty (Fnac+ membership) pricing, while culture products (books, music, games) carry identifiers like ISBN and EAN that need normalizing alongside electronics MPNs. ShopAPIS resolves the brand split, captures the winning offer and the competing offer list, and keys each record on EAN/ISBN so a Fnac listing joins cleanly to Amazon.fr, Cdiscount and Idealo for the same product.
