Eastern Europe / CIS marketplace data API

ShopAPIS returns structured product data — price, local currency, availability, seller, ratings, review counts, variants and SKU/EAN — from the dominant Eastern European and CIS marketplaces as normalized JSON. The region splits into a Polish-led Western-CEE cluster (Allegro), the Russian “big three” (Wildberries, Ozon, Yandex Market) plus the Avito classifieds giant, and national champions in Kazakhstan (Kaspi.kz), Romania (eMAG) and Ukraine (Rozetka). One schema spans a Polish PLN offer, a Russian RUB SKU and a Kazakh installment-priced card.

Russia’s “big three” alone turned over 8.59T RUB (~US$95bn) in 2025, up 32.2% year-on-year, and Russia’s total online trade reached 11.5T RUB (+28%) (TAdviser ). Poland’s Allegro GMV neared PLN 70bn, Kaspi.kz marketplace GMV hit KZT 6.7T, and eMAG cleared US$2.5bn revenue across three EU markets.

How the region is structured

Eastern Europe is not one market but five currency zones with different leaders and different anti-bot postures. Poland orbits Allegro (~60% of national e-commerce); Russia is a three-horse race between Wildberries (~47% of online sales), Ozon and Yandex Market, with Avito owning C2C resale; Kazakhstan is a near-monopoly under the Kaspi super-app; Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria run on eMAG; Ukraine consolidated around Rozetka after its EVO/Prom merger. Pricing data must therefore be read in PLN, RUB, UAH, KZT and RON — ShopAPIS normalizes the schema while keeping each listing’s native currency.

Three platforms publish official seller APIs; the rest must be parsed. Allegro ships a mature, well-documented REST API; Wildberries and Ozon expose official seller endpoints with read/write tokens. But those APIs serve a merchant their own data — reading a competitor’s catalog, price history and stock still means parsing the public storefront behind regional anti-bot stacks. ShopAPIS absorbs that marketplace scraping layer so you work with fields, not HTML.

Use cases

  • Cross-border price monitoring — track one product across Allegro (PLN), Ozon (RUB) and Rozetka (UAH) to compare live pricing per market. See price monitoring.
  • Competitive intelligence on the Russian big three — benchmark Wildberries, Ozon and Yandex Market assortment, discount depth and warehouse stock. See competitive intelligence.
  • Used-goods and grey-market signals — read Avito C2C resale pricing and condition as a demand barometer.
  • Catalog matching across alphabets — resolve an EAN to Cyrillic and Latin listings for catalog enrichment.
