Latin America marketplaces

ShopAPIS turns Latin America’s largest marketplaces into clean, structured JSON — prices, installment terms, sellers, stock, ratings and variants — across the region’s six highest-value platforms. From MercadoLibre’s open REST API spanning 18 countries to Brazil’s traffic leaders Shopee and Amazon Brasil, you query one schema and get consistent product data in BRL, MXN, CLP, COP and PEN, including the installment fields (12x sem juros) that drive every LatAm purchase decision.

Latin America is the fastest-growing e-commerce region in the world, with retail GMV around $173–191B in 2025 (12–19% YoY growth) and ~186M online shoppers. Brazil alone is ~29% of regional spend and Mexico ~26% (plan2 research). ShopAPIS covers the platforms that matter most by traffic, catalog breadth and field richness.

Why LatAm marketplaces need a dedicated parser

Latin American product pages carry a field that almost no global schema captures: installment pricing. Listings advertise both a cash price and an interest-free installment plan (parcelas / cuotas), and shoppers compare on the monthly number, not the total. Add region-specific anti-bot stacks (Sea-grade defenses on Shopee, Amazon-grade on Amazon Brasil) and multi-country codebases (one Falabella schema across Chile, Colombia and Peru), and a generic scraper misses the most decision-relevant data. ShopAPIS normalizes all of it.

The six platforms we cover

Field coverage at a glance

Every LatAm platform returns the core ShopAPIS schema — title, price, currency, availability, seller, rating, review count, variants, images, category — plus the regional installment block. MercadoLibre additionally exposes structured attributes (brand, model, GTIN) and seller reputation via its public API, while Magalu and Casas Bahia surface store-credit (crediário) financing and Falabella adds its loyalty CMR-card price. Each platform’s quirks are normalized into a single, predictable record so your pipeline never branches per marketplace.

How coverage is split

Brazil is the prize market (~29% of regional spend), and three of our six platforms — MercadoLibre, Shopee Brasil and Amazon Brasil — are its traffic leaders, with Magalu and Casas Bahia anchoring the appliance and furniture tiers. Falabella extends coverage into the Andean cluster, reusing one schema across Chile, Colombia and Peru. For Mexico, MercadoLibre’s MLM site is covered under North America. Cross-border players Shein and Temu, surging across the region, sit in our global section.
